Now on to the title. "LITTLE BIG BROTHER", is last Gen madden; which had more to offer in these categorys such as creativity, depth, complexity, detail, innovation, immersion, and interface. Now you have the "BIG LITTLE BROTHER" That 87% of the time goes off the name brands, gimmick features, mid night releases, marketing, the pipe dreams of a patch, graphics, sliders, and the NFL exclusive license. This Gen the game get so much praise and glory to there hard work thats put into the game when multiple "MODES" and "BAD" programing go untouched for years, and alot of the same animations/headach problems from previous titles only to add a gimmick and it be stripped away the next release. Franchise mode hasn't been real since last Gen but look at what I found out. Just take a look at these scores from the biggest game sites out there
MADDEN :
06: IGN 8.0 / GAMESPOT 7.4 (8.0 wait...what???)
07: IGN 8.5 / GAMESPOT 7.9
08: IGN 8.7 / GAMESPOT 8.5
09: IGN 8.8 / GAMESPOT 8.0 (8.8 really???)
10: IGN 8.9 / GAMESPOT 7.5
11: IGN 8.0 / GAMESPOT 8.0
How is this possible when they haven't caught up to there little big bro the PS2/XBOX VERSION..
Look at these features/enhancements/detail/depth below and point out to me one that's in 12 or programed as good as yesteryears version

Neutral game speed
SuperStar mode is still light years ahead of any next gen version
More penalties were in the game
All of that will have you fully immersed in the game lol. Now ah days Madden can't get me through a full month without the thought of store credit, which is sad but its reality. Some are in denial of this but I just came to a point were ill stick with little big bro for now.
In closing I just wanna say that the era of creativity, innovation, detail, immersion, and a medium of difficulty were you don't have to adjust every slider in the game to find peace is DEAD. Its the era of the "PATCH" and quick solutions to hide the truth, and that truth is the programming...BUT when a company can sell a million in a week just off the name alone why be creative AlA LIL WAYNE...
Having the ESPN rights is in a whole different league lol I've only seen the logos and the bottom line...the in and out ESPN radio and the sounds of the show...
Just had to spread my thoughts on this wonderful site...until next time I'm out...PEACE

I don't know if they have die hard football gurus making theses titles or guys that just make games in general...if you look at other sports titles they have there sport essence down pat.. Soccer, Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Even RUGBY!!!! all show somewhat the up most representation of there sport..OUR precious football is far behind in the cycle of grasping the essence..and YES all games have flaws but do the bad out way the good when it comes to debating about a game..the internal flaws are eating away at our precious football title that we once loved.

The thing about comp is other games like 2k basketball has non but continue to raise the bar to prefection as we'll as hocky...I think its just flat out greed of money and knowing there selling basically the name and hype..they know around August every one pile up in lines to buy there product at midnight..making game stop and best buy look like night clubs while they strip down the product from the purest of yesteryear and sell it at a higher price..knowing the junkies need there NFL fix..we blindly buy the same weak stuff knowing it will leave us gamers empty before the next release..have us on forums thirsting for more only to jump right back online and uproar about the same ol same ol...were in the Carter's basement Also know as the enterprise..new jack city...but at the end of the day its just a game..barebone game non the less

I agree with everything..I think its pretty sad that a 6 year old game is more innovative and fun than one that is supposed to be 6 years ahead of it, rather than 6 years behind.

@DaggerSwagger yeah I got madden this year thinking it was gonna be different and a big upgrade...M10 was the last title I played so I thought if I skipped a year it would be major changes, but come to find out it was a baby step...if they pull the new camera angles, player model detail, running motions, and "FUS" Johnson its really a baby step just to add a collision system aka "launch" system, because its big hit after big hit...for example (Ashanti Samuels rocking Beanie Wells like its Ray Lewis hitting Eddie George)...but I wish I would of done the samething I did with NCAA...SKIP...but I've learned my lesson, and just came to a conclusion that its alot more other games out there...Football isn't for me anymore until they stop building from the top and start over at the base...

Wow. In years past guys would say they are done with Madden and I just rolled my eyes. There is a tone to people's posts this year that just seems different. I actually believe some of you guys are serious. I hope EA takes note.
Personally I, like everyone else agrees, but you can't really blame the guys literally working on the game. Im sure like most jobs in America they work crazy hours, make less then they should, and don't have near the number of people they need. The guys have made the game graphically impressive. The game is not horrible to the average consumer... and that is were the problem I'm sure can be found. EA the company. They guys in the big offices surrounded by YES MEN are seeing the number and too busy sipping their wine and counting their money to really know what the consumer wants. Im sure the guys working on the game do their best to relay our desires to the EA Heads of State but they obviously are not being heard.
So the only things that will right this ship is competition OR consumers not buying Madden. Competition I'm afraid is a pipe dream so unless you stop buying the game and hit the High Ups in their pocketbooks... Make it so they can't afford that new exotic car... They will not take notice.

@thbends i totally agree with everything you mention and that is the sad part about this "exclusive deal" it helps the EA guys but it also hurts the consumer because i really feel as a consumer i should have a choice and not only that competition may not be the biggest of a differnce but yet it still gives the consumer a choice and what's wrong with having a choice? and also to the madden fans it also can help madden become better in the process.
